5. Click the Desktop-Only Items policy group, and then double-click the Force Load Count policy rule.

6. Type the number of prompts before users must upgrade their Handheld Software.

7. In the Desktop-Only Items policy group list, double-click the Force Load Message policy rule.

8. Type the message to appear when new software is available.

10. Perform one of the following actions:

Add a rule to the default policy. 1. From the list of policies, click Default.

2. Click Properties.

Create a new IT policy. 1. Click New.

2. Type a policy name.

Action Procedure

Send the modified default policy to users. 1. Click OK.

2. Click OK again.

Add users to a new policy and send the policy to

selected users.

1. In the IT Policy Administration section, double-click IT Policies.

2. In the left pane, click a user.

3. In the right pane, click the new policy.

4. Click OK.
