Distribute Desktop Software to user computers

! Use your preferred distribution method to push the configured Desktop Software installation

program from the network directory to user computers.

When the Desktop Software installation program runs in silent mode, users see a progress bar, but they

do not interact with the installation. Any Handheld Software installation files that you specified in the

[INSTALL_OPTIONS] tag section in the setup.ini file open and a progress bar displays on user computers

while the Handheld Software is installing on handhelds.

View Desktop Software installation log files on user

computers

Log files are generated automatically and stored on user computers in a temporary directory.

1. On the user computer, in the taskbar, click Start > Run.

2. Type %TEMP%.

3. Open BB_

<prefix>.

log, where

specifies a Desktop Software and Handheld Software

installation component.
